Timbertech Terrain Composite Deck — Natural White Oak

We removed the existing wood deck and replaced it with a new Timbertech Terrain composite deck in Natural White Oak. We also installed a new gate, painted all surrounding areas including the railings, and refinished and painted the steps for a cohesive, polished backyard.

Project Overview

This deck upgrade moved the home from weathered wood to low-maintenance composite decking while refreshing the white railing system, lattice, stair stringers and risers, and related trim. The new gate at the stair opening improves safety and finish carpentry ties the whole assembly together.

Scope of Work

• Demolition – Removed existing wood deck boards and prepped the structure for new decking
• Composite decking – Installed Timbertech Terrain in Natural White Oak on the deck surface and stair treads
• Gate – New gate installed to match the railing system
• Painting & finishing – Railings, posts, skirting, fascia, and surrounding painted areas refinished for a clean white contrast to the deck boards
• Steps – Steps refinished and painted (stringers/risers and integrated details) to complement the new decking

The Result

The backyard now has a durable, wood-look composite surface with crisp white railings and steps—easier to maintain than the old wood deck and ready for years of outdoor use.
